Eugene Rosner joined the Firm in 1978. He continues to serve the elderly, the disabled of all ages, and those in need of mediation or guardianship.
A long time practitioner in Elder Law and its related practice areas, he brings his experience to bear on every case that he takes on. Never afraid to litigate, Gene scored numerous successes at the trial and appellate level, including: W.T. V. DMAHS, 391 N.J. Super. 25, 916 A.2d 1066 (App. Div. 2007) and J.P. V. DMAHS, 392 N.J. Super. 295, 920 A.2d 707 (App. Div. 2007)
Eugene’s work attracts praise from his clients, his peers, and a plethora of professional bodies. He has been selected to the New Jersey Super Lawyers list, having received the Peer Recognition in Elder Law from 2007-2011 as well as the main listing in 2007.
His involvement in the legal community includes a Certified Elder Law Attorney (C.E.L.A.)* accreditation from the National Elder Law Foundation, certification and awards as a Family Law Mediator, and membership in the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Guardianship Association of New Jersey, above and beyond his membership in the Union County and New Jersey Bar Associations. Gene has also received the Marilyn Askin award from the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Elder & Disability Law Section in 2016, in recognition of his contributions to the elder law field over the past 25 years. These positions and accolades reflect his deep-seated commitment to those whom he counsels.
In addition to his client work, Eugene shares the lessons of his career with others in the field, regularly delivering seminars, lectures, and classes to the Bar Association and at conferences. These talks draw on his areas of expertise, such as the effects of major life changes on Medicaid planning.
His patience and guidance on non-legal matters also supports his community, as his positions on the Board of Trustees for a wide variety of local and regional organizations reflects. These activities bolster the trust that Eugene’s peers, colleagues, and clients hold in him.
