BIOGRAPHY
Lauren S. Marinaro strives to be a champion of the rights of the elderly and disabled. She is a Partner at the Firm, focusing on Elder and Disability Law matters including Estate Planning, Legal Guardianship, Medicaid Asset Preservation Planning, Medicaid Fair Hearings, Estate Administration and Estate and Fiduciary Litigation. She also handles real estate sales. She has been in practice since 2006.
In 2007, Lauren became the first person in the country to earn an L.L.M. (Masters of Law and Letters) in Elder Law, from the University of Kansas. Lauren earned her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Public Affairs and Politics from Rutgers University and her J.D. from the University of Kansas.
She is a popular speaker, who enjoys speaking at Community, County, New Jersey State Bar and National Academy of Elder Law Attorney (NAELA) events on a wide variety of elder and disability law topics.
Lauren is a Super Lawyers Rising Star in Elder Law for 2010-2017, Super Lawyer in Elder Law for 2019-20, past Chair for the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Elder Law Section and past President of the New Jersey NAELA chapter. Lauren is currently co-chair of the NAELA Public Policy Steering Committee, and a Member of the NAELA Board of Directors.
